About the Podcast

Monster Donut is a close reading of the Riordanverse including interviews with the cast and creatives behind the Disney+ series, hosted by Phoebe, a dramaturg and story consultant in the TV/theater industry, and Emily, a writer & classicist with a degree in Greek & Latin. Every two weeks, Phoebe & Emily (along with some occasional special guests) analyze every book, short story, and episode of the Disney+ adaptation. While they chat, Phoebe sketches whatever characters/scenes are speaking to her. Those sketches are posted on our Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok (@PJOPod on all accounts). New episodes every other Tuesday!

PHOEBE (she/her)

Co-Host & Editor

Phoebe (she/her) is a writer, dramaturg, story consultant, & digital illustrator, specializing in stories of the strange, magical, & otherworldly. She has spent the last six years bringing emerging & established artists to the stage & screen as a creative collaborator, story editor, & partner-in-crime.
